Intensity & Intelligence

Faye is an exceptional puppy, displaying the best traits inherited from her parents. She has her mother’s gentle and kind nature and a confident and formidable presence. Faye's impressive eye, patience, and concentration showcase her instinct for working livestock. Additionally, she possesses her sire's intensity and style.

She is easy to handle and train, with a fun-loving and friendly temperament.  However, when it comes to livestock, Faye is all business. She has a nice start to the working commands on direction, walk-up and wait. She is responding well to a long whistle for the down position.

Faye confidently responds to basic obedience commands such as "sit," "stay," "heel," and "down," and she has good recall. She walks nicely on a leash and is just starting off-leash obedience training. Faye is crate-trained, enjoys car rides and ranch rig rides, and is quiet and well-behaved in the house; however, I do not consider her housebroke.  She also loves water and enjoys playing fetch.

Stock Sense & Trainability

Faye is a quiet and precise pup with a lot of style and presence. She possesses a strong instinct for stock and herding and a strong drive to work. Her training sessions have focused on sheep. I usually start my puppies on cattle around eight months old.

In addition to being a loyal companion and fun family dog, I believe Faye would excel as a turn-back dog, much like her mother. Two of her full siblings, who share similar traits, are performing well in Junior Stock Dog Trials.

Faye is up to date on her vaccinations and worming. She is scheduled for her 6-month rabies vaccine and health test.
